What People's Say About Place

Heather’s is an amazing find! We were staying in Snowmass, but most of the places around us are closed during off-season and we are a little tired of the overly pretentious vibe of Aspen! So, we decided to check out Basalt. We were lucky to find Heather’s. The place has a great cozy vibe. Our servers were very friendly and welcoming. The food was simply fantastic! We enjoyed everything we had. Starting with their delicious Wild Mushroom Soup, then a very fresh and tasty Garden Salad, next we split a Chicken Pot Pie and the Stuffed Pork Chop entrees! That stuffed pork chop had a wonderful mushroom risotto accompanying it and was stuffed with a delicious gruyere cheese and a nicely done asparagus. So good! I strongly recommend this wonderful establishment!

March 2025 Perfect pre-road trip back to Denver stop! While my dietary restrictions prevented me from having a pot pie, it looked INCREDIBLE! And my chicken quesadilla was very good (LOVED that salsa)! And of course, we all had to have a piece of dessert pie before we headed out. My peach pie was delicious and my companions enjoyed their pies as well! Great stop!

We stopped in for a late lunch, and the array of menu items and dessert choices was amazing. I had the Baked Brie and a Kale salad, and my husband had a homemade Shepherds Pie with lamb. The food was absolutely incredible! Best restaurant find we have made in years!

We were walking in Basalt and happened upon Heathers Savory Pies. Normally I think of pot pies as frozen and non appealing. I tried the Chicken Pot Pie and am coming back tomorrow for another one. Just made fresh stocked full of vegetables and chicken with a fantastic crust. If Heather can make pot pies, you won’t believe her deserts. We have the rhubarb and strawberry pie fresh out of the oven! Olivia is a phenomenal helper and really made some great suggestions which we readily accepted. Overall we are recommending that you do not overlook this hidden gem! Your tummy will thank you

Everything about our experience was enjoyable. The atmosphere was comfortable and romantic enough for our rare date night. The food was phenomenal. My husband had the pork chop and I had mussels with the most amazing broth! Sophia was our server and she was absolutely my favorite server ever. She was attentive and aware throughout our experience. She was delightful and sweet. We will definitely be returning when we have to opportunity.

I got the chicken pot pie with the watermelon salad and the berry tea. I cant recommend this place enough! Came for a work trip and looked up food places with good reviews and this place doesnt disappoint!

Such an amazing meal. Nora was so sweet at the bar. The stuffed mushrooms and pot roast were to die for, and the moist pistachio cake. The live music was a lovely touch. Cant wait to be back!

We had the best experience while in Basalt at this adorable little eatery. The wild mushroom soup and chicken pot pies were absolutely amazing! The staff was also top notch. If I lived closer, I'd be back every week.
